Hello to all my friends and family! I just got back from the beach after a great long weekend at Uncle John's beach house. I got to see Uncle John and his parents and his brothers Alquon and Ibn. What a beautiful place! Here are a couple pictures from the past few days.

This picture was taken in my room at home. As you can tell, I'm growing so tall and can pull myself up. I guess it's time to lower my crib mattress... I am now able to flop forward from a sitting position to a crawling position, although I can't quite lift my tummy high enough yet to crawl. I'm not far though, so stay tuned and I'll have an update on that soon!

Here I am sitting in my toy box with all my friends. Don't look too closely, though, because my shirt is filthy and covered in drool. No teeth yet though!
Here is a video of me being funny.

Bathing beauties! Mommy and I are on the beach together! It was a little windy for the first two days, so Uncle John built me a fort out of umbrellas to keep me warm and out of the sun. Don't you like my hat?

Here we are being very patriotic! I even wore my red, white, and blue just for the holiday.

Alquon was such a great friend to play with this weekend. He helped feed me, change my diapers, and he loved playing with me. Ibn isn't in this picture, but he was also so nice to me. Mommy and Daddy had so much fun going out for ice cream with the boys while I was sleeping one night. Don't worry, Anne was there just in case I woke up! I was so impressed with the boys' skateboarding skills. Hopefully I'll be a good skateboarder some day.

Here I am in my windproof fort. No sunburn for me!

Uncle John was impressed with my dance moves. Don't be surprised if he tries them out in the Chicago clubs. Good luck in your new job in Chicago, Uncle John!

The beach is so different from the grass in our yard. I'm not quite sure I like the sand, but it does feel funny on my fingers and toes.

In a few years, it'll be hard to keep me out of the water!
Here I am playing on Daddy jungle gym. Even when I hit him on the face with my toy, he still loves me!
Well, thanks for reading my latest entry. Thanks so much to Uncle John and his family for such a fun weekend. Lots of love to all!
love, Morgan
