May update

Hello!
I got some new sunglasses this week and love wearing them around the house.

Alie and I are getting to be great friends. I love playing with her when she spends some time on her play mat. Mommy and Daddy have to watch closely though because I can play a bit rough.
It was a great weekend for playing outside. Daddy came up with a great activity for me: he tied a rope around Nana's old garden scooter and pulled me around the yard. I don't think Nana would have thought it was very safe, but we were very careful. I had a great time!
Here I am looking out the front door with Daddy. I always want to play outside but sometimes Alie takes up a lot of Mommy and Daddy's attention and we have to stay inside instead.
Saturday was the first day of this year's farm season. I went with Daddy, Saba, Granny Franny, and Aunt Lemore. I was so impressed with the strawberries and ate a ton!
Peek a boo!

Baby Alie continues to grow and grow. She goes this week for her 1-month checkup with the doctor!
Zzzzzz! Mommy is so tired lately...
...but not too tired to help me plant some flowers in the garden. I absolutely love helping in the garden.
I really love helping Daddy watering the tomato plants.
Here I am digging in the dirt. Mommy gave me this pot to fill so I wouldn't keep flinging the dirt out into the grass. Mommy got really upset when I found a huge grub in the dirt, picked it up, and walked it over to let it go down my plastic slide. Mommy yelled for a while until Daddy came and scooped it out of my hand. Daddy and I washed our hands really well before dinner.

That's all for this week! Thanks for reading my update!

Adjusting just fine

Hello, everyone! Here are some pictures from this week...

Sometime I like to pretend that I'm a little baby just like my sister Alie. Here I am sitting in my old car seat that Alie now uses. I don't fit too well, but it's fun to rock back and forth and try to get Mommy and Daddy's attention.

Here's my sister Alie. She is so little compared to me, but when she's awake, her eyes are really big just like mine. She has long fingers but very little feet. She also has more hair than I did was I was that small.
This is Alie working out on her gym mat. You can see how skinny her legs are in this picture. She has such a sweet little smile, doesn't she? Mommy lets Alie play on her gym mat when I'm not around. I like to "help out" so much with baby Alie that the gym is probably not a good idea.
Alie had a pretty rough afternoon today with some tummy issues. Mommy and Daddy alternated bouncing her around and burping her. I offered to help by hugging her. I am really so helpful.
Stay tuned!

Welcome, Alie!

Hello, everyone! This has been a fun week getting used to having baby Alie around the house.
She is doing very well. She sleeps a lot of the time but I am sure to point out to Mommy and Daddy as soon as she starts to fuss and cry.

Mommy and I made chocolate mousse. I was a nice big sister and shared some of the mousse with Alie by wiping it all over her hat.
Mousse making time!
Here is Alie resting in her bouncy seat. When she's not sitting in there, I like to climb in and make myself comfortable. I have been known to also jump into her carseat.
Alie is adorable in all of my old clothes.

Here I am pushing my baby girl in her stroller.

Daddy and baby Alie.
A close-up of me!
Daddy and I worked very hard on the tomato garden on Friday. I was such a huge help pulling the tomato plants all over the yard in the red wagon.
Alie is so sleepy.

Friday night was Cruise Night in Hopewell. We walked around checking out all the old cars. Here I am on the steps of the pharmacy watching all the people go by.
Daddy's favorite car was this '56 Thunderbird. Alie and I loved posing with him, although you can't really see Alie in her big stroller.
On Saturday, we went to the Howell Living History Farm in Lambertville. I loved watching the sheep and the border collies that kept them in line. Coaley would not have fit in with this border collie crowd.
I am pointing at a big brown horse in this picture. We had a great time at the farm.
Here I am with my little sister. It was a hot day so we just hung out after coming home from the farm. Alie looks pretty relaxed!

Check in with us in a few days!
