This weekend we headed down to Annapolis for my Aunt Lemore's wedding to my new Uncle Kevin. I got to be the flower girl and I had lots of fun.
Our first stop was the wedding rehearsal. Before we started, Saba took me up on the rooftop deck to see the view of the Chesapeake Bay.
Here I am with the bride-to-be at the rehearsal dinner. I ate two hot dogs.
Sometimes you just need a refreshing glass of apple juice on a hot and humid day.
Here's Mommy and Alie at the rehearsal dinner. Alie and I had matching outfits.
We got to the wedding site a little early and Daddy helped me get into my dress. I had my shades on for a while because it was really bright outside.
Mommy, Daddy and me just after the ceremony. Where's Alie? Oh... just sleeping upstairs with the babysitter, of course!
Here I am with my cousins Hunter and Jake. They were ring bearers and I was the flower girl.
Here we are in a more serious pose. Prom queen... here I come! Watch out, Daddy!
Mommy and me on the dance floor.
The wedding was so much fun. I had a great time playing and dancing with my cousins Sebastian, Tyler, Hunter and Jake, and my new friend Owen. Welcome to the family Uncle Kevin!

Last Week at the Lake
Hi everybody... Our fun-filled month at the lake ended in early August. I had so much fun at the cottage with Neany, Mommy, Daddy and Alie. It was Activities Week so there was a lot to do.
Here I am with Mommy, Alie, Jen and my friend Sophie on the front steps at Pinawan. After a few days back home in New Jersey I can't believe I was wearing a sweatshirt only a few weeks ago.
Neany and I have matching Canada shirts.
Daddy drove Naima and me to the beach in the boat. We both sat up front and were wearing our life jackets.
It was a cold morning so we didn't think we'd go in the water, but it warmed up and we dragged Daddy in along the beach, even though he was wearing his jeans. I dunked my head twice. The first time was an accident but the second was on purpose.
Here is Alie is just relaxing in her seat.
One night we went to the golf course for a barbecue and I played in the grass with Sophie and Naima. That's Sophie's Dad and Uncle in the background. They are really tall.
Mommy and Neany ran in the road race. Daddy, Alie and I waited for them at the finish line and took this picture. Mommy let Neany win on purpose so she wouldn't feel so old.
Neany got a baby Bear Chair for each of her grandchildren and here are the first two. Last summer we painted my chair to look like a ladybug and this summer we painted Alie's chair to look like a bumblebee. Alie looks quite Buddha-like.
At the end of the week, we loaded up the car and did the all night drive back home to Hopewell. Alie slept the whole way, but I woke up at about 2 a.m., and stayed awake for a long time. It was such a fun summer at the lake and I already miss Neany and the pups, who stayed at the lake for a few more weeks. I can't wait to see them again soon.
love you all,
Morgan (and little sister Alie)
