Almost 1

Hello Everyone, It's almost my first birthday. Can you believe it? I'm sure Mommy and Daddy can't. It's been a crazy few weeks so we're sorry for not updating this sooner. Anyway here are some pictures and videos from the last few weeks.

Two weeks ago, my babysitter Mary went on vacation so I spent the week at home with Daddy. One day we went over to park and Daddy let me play on the swings and slides. I also climbed all over the wooden train. Here Daddy is taking a picture of me through the tunnel.

We went to Saba and Safta's house for Rosh Hashanah last week. I got to see my Aunts Lemore and Orly, my cousins, my great grandma and the rest of Daddy's family. While I was walking around, I discovered their piano and the rest was music to my ears.

My Great Aunt Margie got me a Madeline book and doll for my birthday. She gave it to me a little before my birthday and Madeline has already become one of my favorite dolls. I play with her all of the time.

I got these sunglasses a long time ago but I never liked wearing them... until now. I re-discovered them recently and now I search for them in my toy bins and have Mommy and Daddy put them on for me. The only problem is that I get clumsy when I wear them and I keep falling down. I'm getting better though.

Thanks everyone for checking up on me. I promise to do a better job of updating the blog and hope to see everyone soon.

Love,
Morgan

My latest tricks

Hello, everyone! I hope you had a good week! Things have been busy at the Amir household. Mommy had her first week back at school and Daddy has been busy with water polo and field hockey. To top it all off, my babysitter Mary is on vacation this coming week, so Daddy is going to stay home and take care of me during the day. I'm going to try to take good naps so he can get a little work done. I really require a lot of attention when I'm awake now that I'm walking around. I love to get into things that Mommy and Daddy encourage me to avoid. I really like peeling the protective covering off the fireplace that Daddy worked so hard to install. I also like pulling all of Mommy's cookbooks off the shelf. It's so much fun!

My second trick is pushing baby girl in the stroller through the downstairs. I go back and forth from the living room to the kitchen and try not to run into things. Sometimes I get the stroller stuck under a chair and cry until Mommy or Daddy helps me.

Thanks so much for reading all about my newest adventures. I can't wait to post pictures of my new shoes...check back soon!

Love, Morgan
