Snowmaggedon 2010

Hello from snowy New Jersey! We are buried under a ton of snow! Poor Coaley couldn't even walk around out back so Daddy had to shovel him a path. You'll see lots of pictures of the snow later in this post.

Here I am working hard on my laptop while Mommy works on hers. Mommy got a spare computer from her school and lets me use it while she is trying to get some work done. Mine has Elmo stickers on it so I know it's mine. I don't actually turn it on, but I am getting really good at typing and hitting the mouse. Starr wanted to get involved too so she is sitting between us.
Here I am playing in the little snowstorm that hit last weekend. I thought it seemed like a lot of snow until I saw what hit yesterday. Daddy pulled me all around the streets on my sled because there weren't any cars in sight. Coaley even got to run around without a leash on! Sledding is one of my favorite things to do.

Snow and riding a bike don't really work well together, but I had fun sitting on my neighbors' tricycle anyway. Look out, Lance!

Okay, so here's the big one! This is a picture of Daddy pulling me in my sled on Wednesday morning. We got about 6 inches in the morning, then there was a while when it stopped snowing, then we got about another 18 inches or so (according to Daddy). We even lost power for a little while and wondered if we should move in with Granny Franny for the night. The power came back though so we stayed put. Daddy was able to shovel a couple of times during the day to try to keep up!

Here I am with Daddy in the snow. I helped him shovel.

After we were done shoveling, we built a fire in the fireplace. Here I am helping Daddy sort old bills to burn. I was so helpful by spreading them all over the floor.

This is a picture from Thursday morning. Mommy doesn't have school again today although it does look as though she could drive out of our driveway at least!

Lots of love to you all!
Love, Morgan
